http://www.transitionnetwork.org/ North Shore Transition Initiative is part of a global movement that supports local community iniatives to foster resilience in the face of climate change, economic challenges and the end of cheap oil.

http://slowfoodns.com/ Slow Food Northumberland Shore is part of a non-profit, global, grassroots organization that promotes the idea that Good, Clean, and Fair food should be available to all.

http://www.tatamagouchefarmersmarket.ca/ For all those folks in and around the Tatamagouche area, this farmer’s market is open every Saturday from February-December, 8am-1pm. There are tonnes of friendly, local vendors, and if you’re interested, take some time to explore the Creamery Square!
